Since 2014
Founded with the vision to create products that inspire, Koroboi treats light as a structural material rather than a finishing touch.
The studio started between two kilns in Lisbon, making one-off pieces for architects who could not source the fixtures they were drawing. A decade later the method has not changed: draw it at full scale, prototype in the round, and only produce it once it reads correctly from across a room.
We work in warm colour temperatures between 2200K and 2700K, because we believe interior light should behave like the last hour of daylight.
Material honesty
Glass, bronze, alabaster and linen — nothing plated, nothing pretending.
Small series
Every fixture is numbered and made in runs of fifty or fewer.
Repairable
Components are mechanically fixed so a lamp can outlive the room it was bought for.
